My nose will be stuck in books for days and days and days … and I’ll will be taking tests for days and days and days.
Ugh.
So, to prevent from getting *too* burnt out, I will be following this plan:
~ Hot lemon tea, every morning.
~ Eat lots of protein & veggies.
~ Drink 60-100 oz of water a day
~ Get lots of rest. Stay up no later than 10 max.
~ Keep blood sugar stabilized throughout the day (being a hypoglycemic, and all). May require bringing extra fruit/snacks, and carrying my blood sugar kit with me. It also means: no sugar (nothing sweeter than fruit or honey), no white bread, etc.
~ Get some exercise, but nothing rigorous. Maybe a nice, slow walk/run every evening, and maybe some sit ups.
~ Pray, pray, and pray!! And then after that? Pray some more!! This is always a season in my life when I have to really lean on the Lord for strength, and to cast all my worries on Him!
These are some of my favorite verses that help calm my frayed nerves …
“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matt. 11:28
“Casting all your anxieties on him, because He cares for you.”
1 Peter 5:7
To a good, restful, not-too-stressful, hopefully-oh-my-word-I-won’t-die-or-anything-crazy-like-that next couple weeks,
